Meanwhile a Garda who performed a sexual act on a vulnerable woman who came to testify about her sister got his pay docked for 2 weeks and despite Drew Harris efforts to have him sacked it was overturned by the high court and he’s still working as a Garda.
It seems obvious now that the Gardai are absolutely rotten to the core and Drew Harris is vilified because he’s actually trying to reform them.
Why would any decent person in their right mind want to join?
Am I missing something here, his house was raided?
Surely they don’t raid your house because you failed to fill in some paperwork? There’s nothing for them to find. There’s no reasonable suspicion the raid will find illegal items?

Garda acts like Garda is supposed to. Helps elderly individual. Incorrect paperwork…..house raided, suspended and career destroyed. What a crock of shite. Holy fuck why would you join an organisation that treats you like that.
Farcical disciplinary process for such a minor indiscretion.
I didn’t read the article and I don’t know anything about this but I am so outraged.
That was a miss use of powers raiding his home was completely unnecessary and who signed off on the warrant needs to answer for it.
How was he even reported?
They are retiring soon. Their pension is based on their last 3 years earnings so they will have lost allowances and overtime.
