Ahoj, just wanted to share this amazing pictures of impressive artworks done by Mucha around 1912 ans 1926, now stored at Moravsky Krumlov Castle.
Any of you know the reason why these huge paintings were moved away from Praha and if they will return to the capitall in the next years?

Last century, “The Slav Epic” was preserved in the castle in Moravský Krumlov. Praha showed no interest in it at all. Mucha dedicated the Epic to Prague on the condition that Praha would build exhibition spaces for it. Which didn’t happen. After the revolution, when hordes of tourists began going to the exhibition, Prague “remembered” and began a tug-of-war that continues to this day.
