> In total, **more than 3,000 shots were used** to animate Ted in VFX, and **MacFarlane performed motion-capture work for two hours per week for 22 weeks,** from December to May.
> The goal was to make Ted feel less like a CG character and more like an actor working with the other cast. “He’s just a great character … if you can accept there’s a talking teddy bear,” says Clark. “We did hone it a little bit so that it became Ted, rather than just Seth. It was Seth Plus, and that was the hardest thing to try and make sure we didn’t deviate from.”
Seth MacFarlane returns to voice the titular teddy and direct the series.
I’m really looking forward to this. I think the movies are really great for what they are.
On episode 3. It’s fucking awesome
The show is really great. The classic Seth McFarlane humor in full display, but the acting and writing is fantastic. Full of 90s references. It’s a big winner and I can’t wait to see more episodes.
This was absolutely great!
The show is an essentially a live action version of Family Guy and it absolutely works. It has tons of cameos, sight gags, throwaway jokes, and Ted is just fucking adorable.
I was disappointed… that there were only 7 episodes. I loved it.
