  1. Wonder what the odds are that this ends with zero arrests being made to the “protestors” and the head teacher having to make a groveling apology to the thugs.

  2. Threatening to bomb a school full of children really isn’t going to help your cause.

  3. Oh, it’s another of those isolated incidents involving very few people that are incredibly rare.

Totally normal to threaten to bomb a primary school of course.

  4. This whole story just makes me so mad. As mad as the time this same religious group, who I dont need to name, protested against the horrors of gay people being included in basic sex ed. Or the time a teacher went into hiding for daring to show a picture of some child marrying man in the desert.

This is not freedom of speech. Its a school, there are places for Palestinian protests and a place of education is not one of them. Can you imagine a jewish kid at this school, how scared they must be?

The paradox of tolerance is real. We wouldnt have fucking EDL members outside a school, why should we with these muppets? Police should demark the area as not for protest and arrest offenders. Parents involved should find another school.

  5. Pretty sure threatening to bomb a school isn’t ‘protesting’.

  6. What kind of people threaten a primary school. It is up to the head and governors what is and is not allowed in school. And they, I assume, have decided these badges are not allowed.
I, for one, support Palestinian but not hamas and believe children should not be politisedl, especially at this age.

  7. Bomb threat? Islamic? Ofc.
    These people are ridiculous.

  8. Shouldn’t need to do this but these actions and the others referenced in this comment section does not represent a whole group I.e. Muslims

  9. What sort of degenerate animals threaten to bomb a school?

  10. Nothing says “we’re the good guys” like threatening to blow up a school

  11. There really needs to be dispassionate and sensible discussion about social cohesion.

Too often the ‘left’ have shut down any discussion about legitimate concerns. Likewise the ‘right’ too often falls back on hysterics.

We really need some clear-headed political actors who can lead on this issue. There *is* a problem and it needs discussion and thought.

  12. Was that the same group, that we allow to march each week, because they are peaceful? I hear Egypt is looking for some immigrants.

  13. The school overreacted with the ban, the supporters have overreacted with the response, one idiot even went as far as making some (if there was one), now the school is overreacting with the response and we are overreacting when seeing the article.

Maybe someone from the school or the educational system can come forward and say something, maybe someone who supports Palestine can come forward and say something so we are not left with a cascade of overreactions.

  14. Pretty high number of unique words that start with P in the headline.

  15. When protesting the actions of Isreal in Palestine, you don’t respond by threatening to bomb a place, especially a school
