Hi people. Just small rent. I need to say it. So I visited Ljubljana many times before and I simply love it everything. People were nice, food was great, prices are normal but lemme tell you this. So 5 days ago I decided to visit Portoro2 – Ljubljana – Maribor. I was in Ljubljana and suddenly I got fever (39.8°C) and start coughing blood. So I went to ER and they help me, give some medicine and I understand that I need to wait (same is here in Croatia). So I decided to call taxi on return and there wasn’t Uber, Cammeo or bolt so I asked security person which one should I call. He said, just download Taxi Metro and you will get one. I did that, and I couldn’t enter phone number, so decided to use mail. Taxi didn’t find me on upper floor of ER, she went to garage. When I went down with security guy, and enter the cab she started yelling at me that I am an idiot, that’s why you should put number… When we arrived at destination (apartment) she said it’s 14.90 and mine friend who was in front of apartment asked me in Croatian how much is it, she starts yelling at him 4.90 are you both of you dumb or what? I understand that someone is having bad day, but please don’t yell, you could just send message via app and tell me that you can’t find me. And yeah, I did send them mail today where I complain about her but I can’t report her on app because she didn’t accept me as passenger.

Taxi mafia in Ljubljana ist really garbage. Unfriendly and ripping people off if its possible. They are the only reason I am not against uber ban. Sorry for the experience, I hope you got back on track!
A lot of taxis in Ljubljana are awful. We would have gotten Uber years ago if it wasn’t for the taxi drivers complaining. You’re better off taking the bus.
A Metro taxi driver once cursed me out because i didn’t have enough coins or small bills. The ride was like 6.5€. I said i only have 5€ in coins, otherwise 50€ bill or card. He started cursing, asked if i’m fu*king with him, said that it’s his first ride of the day and he has no change to give back, who do i think i am, who the fuc* wants to pay by card, and such. I said it’s not my problem, that i also work with costumers and it’s my responsibility to have change in the register. He kept cursing, took the 5€ and fu*ked off. Miserable man. But at least we drove in a fancy audi. Lol.
