  1. Some amazing photography in this story and the Swiss make impressive use of such dramatic geography for rather mundane seeming tasks like growing hay. But, I suppose if the vast majority of your land area is extremely mountainous then you have to be creative.

    I would think that the problems faced in such varied terrain will be less severe than that in places with less variety? for instance, if you live in the flats, if climate change brings too much heat you cannot ascend into cool air, or ascend above the cloud layer in the winter to escape the grey skies and drizzly of winter.
