lots of Russian disinfo in the replies. Turns out Ukraine has been able avoid drafting 18-27 year olds because of many volunteer forces. The new law changes will lower the minimum age limit from 27 to 25 so now they will be drafting men who are 25 or older.

IF Ukraine was getting all the conventional firepower it needed…like more himars, atacams, fighter wings of f 16, more city missle defense systems, about 300 more tanks, more modern howitzers, variety of artillery shells and more .50 caliber and smaller ammunition…recruitment would be much easier imo.
They cant avoid it troops need to be rotated out to heal you cant live on the frontline for 2 years it will break them and then you got no troops.

Look at Finland, they know you need manpower to fight off Russia and have universal military service. Israel was surrounded by enemies and has it too. Ukraine was too late to realize that Russia would become a threat instead of an ally. Though it’s telling that they didn’t need it for all the time they shared borders with NATO.
