Power sharing was always doomed to fail. The only reason it ever worked was because 2 people at the heads of both parties wanted it to work. Now that they’re gone no one is there to continue the arrangement.
The worst part of all of this is that Donaldson, by most accounts, actually wants to get back to work, but he just can’t sell it.
Without even a whisper of a doubt we are at the end of the beginning of a great crisis in unionism.
