  3. I don’t understand why they’re whinging. They’re still alive, they’re still on their feet, and they say they have money to buy food and drink at some shop. And since they’re still holding their positions, I guess they’re getting ammunition.

    I also don’t understand why these righteous warriors of the glorious and God-blessed fatherland feel the need to cover their faces. If they’re genuinely doing their best under challenging conditions, surely they should be proud of that and happy to be identifiable in the video.

    I actually think they would give you the things you demand if they could. The truth is they have no such resources to give you. Not after the f-up they’ve got russia into.

    The best case scenario for soigu and putin right now is that you die out there on the battlefield while trying to take even just one square metre of Ukrainian land. They want land, not your wellbeing. Importantly, they really don’t want you lot to go home as hardened fighters with more combat experience than soigu and putin combined, and feeling disgruntled about the high command of the russian military.

    If you surrender, you’ll be treated better by the Ukrainians, that’s for sure.
