Been saying this for years. The fact the Hungarian fans were repeatedly racist to are lads and just had to have an empty stadium for a week is a joke. This forces fans to change or it will force owners/associations to actually start making meaningful changes.

I believe Rudiger accused Spurs fans of racism a few years back but after an investigation no evidence was found to suggest anything was said.
Cardiff fans chant “you Jack bastard” to ex Swansea players. Is it inconceivable that a ref or an opposing player mistakes that for “you black bastard”?
So the game gets cancelled, team X is awarded the 3 points and then it’s revealed it was a mistake… does the game get replayed? Team Y gets the points instead? Both teams share a point apiece?
So by that logic, if I have a racist argument with someone else on his Twitter post, does that mean he has to delete his Twitter account?

Forfeit the game, play the next five behind closed doors and points deductions for more three or more offences in a season. It might punish ordinary fans but if it means idiots think twice about racist chants and monkey noises then so be it.

How many footballers do we see dive? There’s already cheaters in the game. You don’t want to be giving them the opportunity to be able to say to the ref they heard something racist and be awarded the game. A forced forfeiture would absoloutely be taken advantage of by some players.
Get the culprits who racially abuse any players, it’s not the clubs fault neither is it the genuine fans fault, find the culprits and ban them for life and the police can put them through the courts.
