Those crews are working through one of the worst storms of the year to restore power to homes and businesses.
Fair play to them. It’s not an easy job.
I got lucky, the power just switched off for a second at my place and I’m usually badly effected. I lose power for more and 30 minutes probably 10 times a year.
Grand in Waterford City, no disruption. Not so good for the rest of the county though.

Only good thing about living here is by the time any storm reaches us the worst is over and its not that bad were like what 40 km from the coast
Edit: that being said I hope trees fall in the Forest beside where i live because I’ll be out there tomorrow at sunrise with my bowsaw looking around

Do ESB crews work through the night/ in bad weather?
I’m renting and we have PAYG so don’t know the MPRN number. It’s so annoying you can’t report a fault without it?
I tried the phone number/Eircode but the landlords number doesn’t work so idk.
Can I call their line and report it without that MPRN number?
Is Judge Roy Beans stil open in Newbridge?
Very tempted to try and blow off work tomorrow by telling them the power is gone….

Been down since about 9 in Cavan
Ours went this evening, hopefully will be back before 6pm tomorrow! But I have a camping stove and gas heater so it’s not the end of the world. Roads very bad with trees and power lines down so hopefully they’re cleared tomorrow. Especially if the power is out still I will definitely have to go into the office. FFS!
