>our two missing U.S. Navy SEALs have not been located and their status has been changed to deceased
So, they dont really know if they are dead or not.
I like seals who aren’t killed on the job ok?
What were they trying to do over there?
Rest in peace. SEALs are some incredible people, it’s so sad to lose such heroes. 🇺🇸
Rest in peace, heroes.
They aren’t dead; the Iranians have them in captivity now.
Sounds like a Mission: Impossible plot.
This is how you make Jason Bourne level operators. Just sayin…
RIP!
More hands-on missions more risk to these guys!
Let’s just surgically bomb the shit outta every suspicious vessel that potentially further arms these yappy Houthi fucks!
RIP. Prayers to the soldiers and their families.
What I don’t understand is why didn’t they just blew up the boat?
Makes you wonder if Jetpacks will be more or less dangerous?
Biden needs to take the gloves off. Why’s he being such a wuss.
Pretty silly there’s not some kind of emergency distress signal they could turn on, like the military spends how many trillions per year? If your profession has you doing things like night time ship sieges shouldn’t there be plans on easily finding your men if they fell into the water?
These kind of deaths should never happen.
Rip 🙏
Respect to the fallen. Being there for your brother is a bond that can never be duplicated.
May their memories be a blessing
I hv done shit like this. No matter where you are, ocean, mountains or desert but especially the ocean. It takes two compounded bad events and you’re shark bait. On the other hand, hunt the jungle living off the land for a month at a time. But the sea is where I was expert. That shit will turn bad and kill you in 5 minutes. May take 6 hours, but that was done in 5 minutes.
They have whale and shark tracking beacons. Why no water activated personal locator beacon strapped to your body?
God rest their souls.
Rip
The ocean has taken many heroes
How come we spend millions to train these guys and they dont have a tracking device. A 30$ apple airtag?
Full kit, in boots, unbalance fall into swells doesn’t give you a shot imo.
Was known to be dead 1hr after the operation concluded. Night time, dark seas and swell with 50+ pounds of gear sinking you to the bottom.. poor seals all that training to die because of a fault auto inflation life vest.
Don’t these guys typically have a plethora of beacons etc. for this exact reason?
RIP.
Thank you for protecting our way of life and the freedoms that have costed so dearly.
Thank you for your service. It won’t be forgotten.
Why does protocol dictate one should jump in after his mate falls off?
So maybe instead of sending in navy seals to take control of the boat we simply start torpedoing them instead? Seems like a net benefit to me, Iran loses the weapons and the ships, and if they ask us if we know what happened we can say they must have packaged their ‘humanitarian aid’ poorly.
I still find it strange that they wouldn’t be found when the water is warm, the swells are 8ft, the boats are small and manoeuvrable, and it can be assumed that they all were using night vision and had IR strobes on their helmets.
To me it’s either they didn’t wear the standard strobes so they couldn’t be found (why?) or they were both knocked out simultaneously so they couldn’t activate them (why lie about one jumping after the other then?) or they were KIA.
They were boarding a boat with Iranian missile parts. It’s possible they met with resistance and were killed while boarding and this story is meant to soften the pressure on the US to escalate their campaign against the Houthis.
