Haley gets her ‘two-person race’ with Trump. It doesn’t look promising.

  1. Hopefully things turn around so these two can keep dragging each other down, but it looks like we’re closing in on 2020 part 2, electric boogaloo.

  2. Of course not. She waited until the last second to attack his long list of issues and weaknesses. Thats not how you win.

  3. Being slightly more popular with the minority of GOP who don’t want Trump isn’t a path to the nomination.

  4. We are all Trump fans for now since Haley would do better against Biden.

  5. She’s going to lose and it’s going to be embarrassing by how much she loses. Then, because she dared challenge him, Stefanik will be the VP pick and Haley will become irrelevant to politics by March

  6. DeSantis dropping out makes Haley even more irrelevant. She isnt running against anyone now.

  7. She aligns with an unpopular political ‘side/faction’ of the rightwing and is POC….

Democrats voting in the GOP primaries are truly her only hope and trying to spin that as organic rightwing support is her best campaign strategy?

This is why the neocons are getting trounced by Trump.

  8. Trump could be drooling from a hospital bed and still win, cause only the most dedicated Republicans vote in these primaries and those are his base

  9. DeSantis dropping out right before NH is very curious. Bet he got a cabinet position of his choosing

  10. Unless she’s banking on Trump being barred from contesting, she’ll drop out pretty soon.

  11. What drives me nuts is people excusing what he says as “it’s just politics, he doesn’t really mean it”. Some pastor was literally excusing his racist statements as it just being what he needed to say to win. Like that is literally not an excuse in God’s eyes, and you are supposed to, oh I don’t know, coming at it from the prospective of God being a pastor. No one has any self awareness in that party anymore.

  12. Haley will hold out until the rulings about Trump are made. If he is ruled to be allowed on the ballots, she’ll drop or if the other trials finally get to the point where Trump faces consequences – I know, I know – she’ll “be there” to pick up the pieces.

  13. The real test of her character will happen once she drops out. If she endorses trump and he loses in November then she’s done.

  14. When I think of Trump and the GOP I think of science fiction stories where ancient aliens have programmed a deliberate weakness into human DNA so that when the aliens come to conquer them, humans are helpless to resist. The GOP has a built-in weakness to Trump that I don’t think anyone can fix.

  15. Haley has an even worse chance now. DeSantis’ votes will probably go more to Trump.

  16. She was able to divine that it was a two-person race after Iowa. She must be psychotic.

  17. “He’s terrible, but I’ll vote for him and pardon him for all his crimes if I win.”

    She is truly pathetic.

  18. Gee, no shit. Tell me something I don’t know.

  19. Texas has open primaries. I’m voting for Haley. If she gets the nomination Trump will tear her down to him.

  20. What if the billionaire class (re: Koch) actually pay off the Supreme Court to get Trump off the ballot?

And all because they view Haley as more likely to actually get elected and get legislation signed.

That would be House of Cards-level stuff!

  21. Not with the media rooting against her so they can make more money off of Trump.

  22. Am I an idiot for thinking she has a shot? I’ve always said the Right will be the first to elect a female president. They are great at packaging up hate as hate-lite. If Trump can’t make it to the finish line and Biden stumbles she’s it. Those are huge what if’s, but there’s a path.

  23. I give her less than two weeks before she’s viciously fellating his little mushroom micro-peen in public.

  24. Long way to go. I think she stays in till at least Super Tuesday. This is what we all wanted to see. 1v1. Still would bet on Trump but she will make it closer than people thought just a month ago.

  25. 1% of Republican delegates have been determined. After NH and SC that jumps to 2%. A candidate needs 50% to become the nominee.

Stop letting the media convince you that Trump is inevitable.

  26. She should be able to pull 40-50% now in some places.

If she can and can force Trump into a debate and if she’s willing to go for the jugular she might beat him.

All she has to do is make him look doddering and old on a friendly playing field. Have him call her Nimrod-a as a “joke” and have her non-reactive to it. Call it out as childish and then actually sound like a mentally sound human in rebuking him while affirming evil right wing social causes and she has a path.

You just only get one shot at the king usually so you take the fucking head off or you don’t.

  27. Haley is going to win the GOP nomination. Calling it now

  28. Anyone else think she would beat Biden if elected? Trump might lose in the general election against Biden, but I don’t think Biden would beat Haley. Unfortunately, not being an extremest republican candidate and her being younger might appeal to more voters, even dems who aren’t happy with Biden or his age.

  29. I’d pay to see a cage match with those two on pay per view. My money would be on Nikki.

  30. I don’t think the two people that voted in Iowa have decided the race already like the media is making it seem. Sure seems like WAPO is pulling for Trump. She has a shot to not only win the nomination but to also beat Biden. Trump will likely lose against Biden no matter what the polls say because so many people can’t stomach him.

  31. Russia tries to attack 👊 USA why USA got love for USSR thanks you USSR

  32. Does anyone think she’s actually trying to beat him?

I always assumed she’s just trying to the the runner-up to take over as nominee in case of criminal conviction or stroke.

    She’s running for understudy.
