1. I am taking a day off of soccer. I am not in the mood to get angry at the players, management, Tuchel or whoever. I’ll just work today and enjoy coffee. Have a great day everyone!

2. All criticism of Tuchel is fine and fair but at a certain point, after so many managers, you have to look at the inconsistency, the lack of drive, the lack of finish from certain players and come to the right conclusions.

   Kimmich is not a world-class CM.

   Coman is not a world-class W.

   Davies is not a world-class WB.

   Yesterday all three of them were awful. Bremen pressed Kimmich and Rapha into oblivion so Bayern had to shift to the flanks. Kimmich is not prime Xabi Alonso or Kroos or Xavi, he **cannot** play through the middle. Just like when Mexico and S. Korea neutralized him in the World Cup group stages. His idea of a good pass is to pass to the WB and let the WB curl it back to the CB for a long ball.

   On one flank you have Davies-Sané with Davies who has the technical on-ball abilities of a rhinoceros and on the other flank you have Laimer-Coman in which neither can cross, neither can shoot, and neither can cut inside… and they have no chemistry whatsoever.

   Bayern expected a parked-bus Bremen but were faced with a strong mid-press which caught them out. A two-man midfield is at a disadvantage in this situation.

   On one hand I wish we could shift to a 3-man midfield if we are going to insist to play “possession” football. We’d need a clean-up guy in the DM spot. That said, Tuchel doesn’t seem like he wants to play “possession” football but something more counter-attacking and speedy… which I personally like but for which we do not have the players. Players like Davies, Coman, and Gnabry need to be a lot more clinical and sharp, if they’re to play in a counter-attacking style and after so many seasons of stagnation we can see they don’t have that in them.

   So in conclusion, I think the fanbase should be less pushing on Tuchel to be sacked (for which we have NO alternative or superior option to begin with) and more concerned with the players who have constantly and consistently failed to produce, failed to grow, and failed to take over the team. We cannot transition away from the Müller-Neuer era because the next generation (who are not young or inexperienced or underpaid) have failed to rise to the opportunity.

4. On the (very small) bright side: Tuchel FINALLY had the balls to take Kimmich off when he isn’t performing, hopefully sending a signal that no one is safe. Imo opinion it is important that even the two plot armor players Goretzka and Kimmich are no longer exempt.

5. Depressing weekend for us. Still no signings, not a good game.

   I’m not gonna join the general criticism on Tuchel, players and board today, everything I feel about that already has been said here..

   What do you think about the Faro trip? I think it was a large mistake. Yeah, it’s warmer down there, team probably had some nice trainings there and then had to play again in the freezing cold. Probably could have saved the effort to stay in the weather. I’m no fan of training abroad during a season.

6. I get people have a hate boner for Kimmich but my question is why does Tuchel keep playing him as 6 when he has himself said Kimmich isn’t one? Regardless what Kimmich might think or say, it is the job of the coach to define roles, if that is the case then Tuchel is deliberately setting kimmich and the team to fail with his definition of role.

   Why pair him with Goretzka (no.8), Guerreiro (Lb/no.8) or Laimer (b2b)? Why not pair him with Pavlovic, an actual DM?

8. Xavi about playing 16 year old Cubarsi: “Why Pau Cubarsi as CB and not Kounde-Araujo? Because he’s ready. He didn’t lose a single ball and had an impeccable performance today.” I do also know certain players who are ready at our team 🤷

9. people tend to forget our performances under JN dropped after the WC. We were killing it before then.
