I’ve never used RT for their reviews but Hook 29%? I loved that movie, is it nostalgia or was it really not well received?
If you want that RT score you gotta pay for it. Absolutely not a reliable source anymore.
Personally I find 26% way to high for coyote ugly that movie was way worse
I just don’t get We’re the Millers. I watched it a few times when it came out and then another time on cable, it just does nothing for me. So many people love it, but I think it’s unfunny and boring.
Some of my favorite comedies of all time are rated way too low in my mind.
Super Troopers (36%) and Kung Pow Enter the Fist (13%)
Miss Congeniality only has a 41%, and is now regarded as one of the best comedies of that time period.
We’re the millers is funny, but nothing ground breaking
Just go pay them to raise them then. RT isn’t exactly neutral.
Clifford with Martin Short.
Not surprising that all these movies are terrible. At best, mindless clap-trap.
This belongs on Buzzfeed, not here.
Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai. 66%.
Should be 100% just from Lithgow alone.
I don’t understand why people like Hook so much. I finally watched it, and I absolutely don’t get why people love this movie.
Galaxy Quest – it was a movie I didn’t expect to enjoy and then thoroughly did.
Once again, “Xanadu” is cruelly ignored.
Beethoven. Loved that film as a kid and was surprised it had a bad score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Also Step Brothers. Such a great film.
Die Hard With A Vengeance at 59% baffles me.
Hook!? Wow that shocked me.
Just an annual reminder of how dirty the critics score was for Grandmas Boy (one of the biggest disparities between critics and audience scores)
Con Air being rotten is crazy
Split deserved way more attention and love than it got, it should have pushed James McAvoy to superstardom for how hard he crushed his performance.
Underwater is not as bad as people make it out to be, sure it has problems but it deserved better than it got. I could be biased because I love giant monster movies, but the world in Underwater is interesting and I want to see what is next.
Eternals being as low as it is, is a legit crime. Same for the original Dune. For the time it’s actually really awesome and good
Cats with 19% – That’s fucking generous.
Ghostbusters (2016) with 74% – that’s fucking bullshit!
Home Alone 2, Flubber and Armageddon deserve so much better. And how you giving Coyote Ugly a 26% score?
Damn, that was a wild ride.
Jawbreaker is a very dark, twisted, yet hilarious teen comedy that gets panned all the time. Its an late 90s gem
Yeah I mean Armageddon is kind of bad… I was thinking most of these movies maybe aren’t the best but Hook at 29% is insane. That’s so low.
Wasn’t it revealed that reviews in Rt are basically bought?
Before the new Exorcist movie there was an influx of new reviews to bring down the original one’s score a day before the embargo lifted. That seemed shady af.
Before I used to follow them, but now, I build my own opinion.
What movie is that pic from?
I’ve always liked Home Alone 2.
The Good Shepherd
I got a feeling I’m gonna open this list and see some absolute trash.
