This was a very busy Sunday for Ukraine. Bless the giver of millions of himars! May they fly true and strong!
These always make me happy! Слава Україна!!!💙💛
The dimension of russian military équipements is nuts…
Still they cant take Ukraine.
Fingers crossed this week will see a major breakthrough in funding for aid to Ukraine in the US.
As much as I would like these casualty figures to be true I just don’t belive it unless a large number of the casualties have been injured several times and returned to the lines.
One cruise missile every day. It seems russia is trying to keep the patriot systems pinned down
The intensity of Russian army attacks decreased yesterday.
– In the Svatove and Severodonetsk regions, Russian units continue their offensives against both Kupiansk and Lyman cities, but the activity of attacks was significantly lower yesterday. The Ukrainian military command confirmed that their units retreated from one village (which had a pre-war population of 47 people). If the Ukrainian army had new positions well-prepared, this does not change the overall situation in the region.
– Near Bakhmut, Russian army attacks are increasing in intensity. Positional battles are ongoing, and the Russian army has not achieved any lasting success.
– The fiercest battles in the Donetsk region are taking place around Avdiivka. There are reports of the Russian army advancing a few hundred meters south of the city. If such progress continues over ten days, it could indicate a minor change in the frontline. In the Marinka area, the activity of the Russian army has decreased, although some attacks still occur during the day.
– On the southern front, the Russian army made some more active offensive attempts in the Tokmak area, but these were unsuccessful. On the left bank of the Dnieper, the same situation persists, with the Russian army conducting 6-8 unsuccessful attack attempts per day.
Russian casualties have now exceeded American casualties in Korea, Vietnam and the second Iraq war combined. Before the guns fall silent it is likely Russian casualties will be higher than American and Canadian casualties in all wars and conflicts since the end of WWII.
What I would love to get a better idea of is how the wear and tear on aircraft not in the front line has increased.
I mean lobbing glide bombs and cruise missiles at all those “military” targets does not come for free, and there are some types of aircraft where I’d expect the deploy / train / maintain ratios won’t be looking rosy anymore.
Jesus! How long ago was it that we were talking about losses of 300,000?!
Nice numbers for a Sunday…..
You know when you watch a space documentary and the science people talk about numbers so big you can’t even comprehend them?
This is how this chart is starting to feel to me. I can’t even imagine 380k people gathered in one spot, or a car park with that many tanks…. It’s unfathomable
