Dan Crenshaw, who is BTW a MAGA conservative, said that he thinks House GOP don’t want border changes, and would rather kill the bill entirely so that russia could win.
I think there will have to be a drastic change in House GOP leadership or we will just have to wait for November elections and hope for the best.

Then we can say that the US has won another war, like all the others, and meanwhile we take our weapons home. Quit Nato while we’re ahead and use all those weapons and funds to make a big wall in Mexico and maybe send all the immigrants to a concentration camp, but we’re certainly not Nazi’s. US Border Security has been a problem for the past 40 years, and by tying Ukrainian Aid to Border Security, the GOP wants to make it fail.
However, when the Democrats presented a plan to reinforce the Border and included Ukrainian Aid, they refused.
Why?
Because the Republicans want to campaign on it for 9 months so that when Elections really start, they can point at Biden and say “Biden didn’t do enough to secure the Border” even though said Border Regulation needs to pass by the House, which is controlled by the GOP, therefore needs to be approved by Speaker Johnson, a Republican.
They purposefully tied Ukrainian Aid to Border Security to purposefully make it fail, because if the US hasn’t been able to fix Border Security for the last 40 years, what makes you think they’ll fix it now?
