Couldn’t leave to drive to airport this morning 🙃

Have called eircoms emergency line and gave my address but what now?

Should I expect someone to come from esb to remove it?

Or should I call a local removal service to cut it up?

  1. They come with a cable running the length that can fuck a saw blade up. You need a bolt cutters to tackle that, then a saw. It’s also hung so that makes it a more dangerous job.

The normal eir lads are not equipped for this shit. They contract out pole operations afaik.

Fastest way out is the local council depot. They eat this shit for breakfast. Otherwise you’re looking at arborists.

  2. If it was an ESB pole they’d be all over it but eircom don’t really care. Their poles are not even maintained well. Enjoy the week off.
