This years team has so much unrealised potential right now, we have the most talented squad in the league and a great first summer mercato from the new ownership that makes me feel optimistic about the future.

  1. Probably the next year scudetto winner

So strong attack but when the defense recovery even inter will be crush

Pioli deserve stay the next year for that reason anyone who coach Milan next year at least the serie a title

  2. Giroud should be up-top… he has been great all season long.

  3. The team is very good, unfortunately Pioli is not able to make the most of our players.

  4. It’s a new squad with a lot of injuries this season, they’re doing better in the league than last year, albeit they shit the bed in the champions league and the coppa already but there’s still a chance with the Europa league. I’m fine with Pioli till the end of the season unless Milan can’t qualify for any European competition then maybe pull the trigger early towards the end of the season, but as more players come back to fitness and if the injuries can fuck off for a decent while I think they’ll do fine.
Inter is by far the best team in the league, it sucks balls but it’s the truth, only an idiot wouldn’t see that. Milan isn’t on that level yet. It was awesome to reach the semi finals of the champions league last season and amazing to win the league the season before that, but it’s still not the time to be expecting league titles and champions league finals every season. The results might not always be what we want but what’s going on here at our club is exciting, all that depressing shit we went through during banter, this is waaaaay better than any of that. You wanna build something solid with good foundations that lasts, Milan is on the way, just be patient. Forza Milan!

  5. It is but it’s a shame that the team has hit its ceiling under Pioli

  6. >we have the most talented squad in the league

Love the team but i really think this narrative is going to get exposed hard next season when Pioli leaves.

This sub loves to repeat this mantra that all our players are world class future Balon d’or winners and just being stifled by an incompetent Pioli.

Half of the team on that sheet were nobodies until developed by Pioli for the scudetto season (and Thiaw, Kalulu). If we’re being honest which of these (aside from Theo, Leao and Maignan) are on the same level of other “world class players” in serie a like Osi, Lautaro, Vlahovic, Thuram, Lukaku, Chala etc?

We have a good team here, definitely one that can challenge for Serie A especially with a few key reinforcements for depth – but to say that we have the most talented team in serie a, just because we spent a bit in the summer is being generous. Even Pulisic and RLC who have pretty much delivered immediately need atleast a couple seasons to prove their consistency in the league.

Piolis stats show that he one of the most impactful milan coaches of the 21st century, certainly since the 2010s. I agree his time is most likely up by the end of the season if we want to make the next step with a coach like Conte or similar calibre, but I expect a very cold shower when the group cohesion and mentality aren’t the same, especially if a few key players are sold to make way for a new managers approach.

Just my opinion – Forza Milan, sempre.

  7. Let’s be honest here.

Players like Pulisic, Okafor, Jovic, Reijnders but also Musah, Chuku they all have big talent and unfortunately they ended up in Pioli Hands.

Give them a great tactician and see the results.

They are doing great already but that’s complete Chaos. Pulisic receive the ball and he needs to dribble someone to shot or assist, he has no help by our “gameplan”. Same for Okafor or Chuku. They are expected to dribble by themselves

  8. Playing Okafor as a striker would require some organisation in the attacking movement, something we that we don’t seem to be interested into.

That’s why we continue to play burlier lads that can use their ass to keep defenders behind them

  9. Where do you all think Pioli and Milan would be if we had a full strength squad for all the games so far this season?
