The weather might be causing some issues (been like this since Sat, calmac/coop unsure when/how they will re supply)

4. Remember the other day when I said people should keep bottles of water, some tinned food, a torch and a phone charger handy? Lots of people were sceptical.

   Just now I’ve no broadband, the night before last there was a powercut for an hour and I’m in Lanarkshire.

   Everybody should have that and if you don’t then do it over the next wee while.

   Clearly it’s too late to do that for this storm, but it’s worth taking a few minor steps without turning into a fallout cheerleader.
