Hi all! As the title says, need advice on how to tackle a situation where someone is purposely littering my building entrance every day for the past month or so. It is paper or candy wrappers or anything small that they get their hands on.. Was looking at security cameras and its a very tricky area, is there something I can ask authorities to do first? What would be my options, if anyone has encountered such a petty crime before already, which frustrates me a lot given I have been enjoying the cleanliness of this country very much and don’t want it spoiled by someone, especially not at my doorstep…

Put a note on door asking not to do it?
A ring type door camera could be interesting.
If it continues after you have a ring camera, print a screenshot of the person doing it, and stick it to the door. “We know who you are”
Maybe try reverse psychology. Don’t clean the paper away, let them be for a week or so and see if it stops. It would trigger me like hell but the other person won’t have a „feedback“ that somebody is bothered and the fun might be gone. Same taktik like tickeling (Kitzeln) somebody, it’s only fun as long as the other person is reacting.
