  3. The Houthis fucked around, and now their fucking finding out

  4. Another thing to note, these airstrikes are more than likely apart of a long-term military campaign rather than the one-off attack that was launched on the 11th.

  5. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง : weโ€™re the captains now.

  6. I wonder how effective these strikes are. Do the Houthis even have static posts to strike at? My impression is they lob some shit at the closest civilian vessel and then run for it.

  8. Thatโ€™s what happens when you mess with the UK we
are not to be messed with

  9. Who gets to name these operations? The commanding officer for said ops?

    Not complaining think it’s cool

  10. They still in that find out phase, huh? I guess some learn a little slower than others.

  11. Was downvoted yesterday in the Dallas sub for commenting on a picture of a large banner at a pro palestinian protest that said “Gaza Called Yemen Answered” basically saying what Yemen (Houthis) did would be “bad for their health.” Less than 24 hours later……well well well what do you know.

  12. Ladies and gentlemen, we have entered the *Find Out* stage.

  13. DONโ€™T ๐Ÿ‘ FUCK ๐Ÿ‘ WITH ๐Ÿ‘ OUR ๐Ÿ‘ BOATS!! ๐Ÿ‘
    RAAHHH!!! ๐Ÿฆ…๐Ÿฆ…๐Ÿฆ…

  14. I posted this two days ago:

    > The [Washington Post](https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2024/01/20/us-military-yemen-houthis/) is reporting a plan for a larger scale campaign to combat the Houthis. Key points:
    >
    > > The Biden administration is crafting plans for a sustained military campaign targeting the Houthis in Yemen after 10 days of strikes failed to halt the groupโ€™s attacks on maritime commerce […]
    >
    > > Officials say they donโ€™t expect operations in Yemen to last years, but they acknowledge itโ€™s unclear when the groupโ€™s military capability will be sufficiently eroded
    >
    > This follows the sixth round of airstrikes today (Saturday), this time on an anti-ship missile before it launched.
    >
    > > Administration officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations, described their strategy in Yemen as an effort to erode the Houthisโ€™ high-level military capability enough to curtail their ability to target shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden or, at a minimum, to provide a sufficient deterrent so that risk-averse shipping companies will resume sending vessels through the regionโ€™s waterways.
    >
    > Interestingly, they point out that although shipping attacks continue, there is evidence of reduced ability:
    >
    > > They point out that more sophisticated attacks, like a large-scale one that occurred Jan. 9, have not been repeated since the U.S.-led strikes began. โ€œRecall before the strike we had U.S. ships attacked with 20-plus UAVs and multiple missiles in a single attack,โ€ a second American official said, using a military acronym for drone aircraft.

This must be part of the ‘larger scale campaign’ OP mentioned in their comment.
