I went to a metal show last night and witnessed a hybrid of peak British queueing etiquette. The mosh pit stayed open and empty for two songs, before those participating returned.

  6. Such a good show! And Oli has matured so much as a performer since the first time I saw them live. Stopped the song four times to make sure everything was good.

  7. Saw them at Birmingham. Seated cuz I’m now in my 40s & genuinely cannot stand up for 4 bands in a row. Or sit on a concrete floor either.
    Thought the show was amazing. I’ve been a fan for nearly 20 years & the evolution of BMTH as a band is a joy to see. Oli also looks very happy & healthy bless him.
    Think the Brum gig got stopped twice? Think the crowds have been quite hit & miss tbh. People blaming covid for fans not knowing how to behave etc
    There’s ALWAYS been idiots at shows. I did the last ever Monsters of Rock in 96 & some bloke pissed down the back of my leg. Grim.

  10. I went on Saturday and it was great. Was cool to see all the most pits from where we were.

  11. Man, imagine Bring me the horizon 13 odd years ago when they were peak. There was no mosh pit, the entire venue was a warzone. Greet times ❤️

  12. Why? Ballads, shit songs? I’ve never known a pit to empty for that long except for security/medics.

    I’m not knocking it though, seem like the most fun you can have while doing nothing!

    At slamdunk the entire crowd is usually a moshpit
