The Russian mothers and wives have been a force for the Russian soldiers since the Soviet Union and the war in Afghanistan.
They know the true body count of this war, despite what the government says.
Don’t be fooled, this isn’t “send *all* our husbands home”. This is more of a “send *my* husband home, and send someone elses insted”
My empathy is limited.
In her interview, this lady said that the war was a necessary measure. She is not against it, she’s just not OK with the fact that her husband was sent to it. Don’t be fooled.
Ok but in a casket.
We also want all of their husbands and sons to go back home and to stop fighting. They should keep protesting and rebel against their government to stop this madness.
why not an anti-war protest instead ?
They only ask THEIR husbands back. Not to stop genocidal war against Ukraine. If it is other husbands there they are fine
Remember that you can hate a dictator without hating the entire nation.
They support the war, though. They just want rotation.
