  5. If Russia dare step foot on Ukrainian territory again they should be cut off from all western technology, stock/financial markets, secondary capital markets, and straw real estate purchases

    Then the Russian banks should be blocked from the SWIFT system— bringing their energy export industry to its knees

    Finland and Sweden will then join NATO, turning the Baltic Sea into a NATO controlled lake

    If Vladimir Putin is such a fan of history -as he purports to be- he needs a refresher on what happened to Mussolini and Hitler after they lost the war

  6. Just saying: The same play unfolded in 2008 in Abkhazia. The invasion started on 08 August, on the first day of the Beijing olympics. Guess what will start This year on 04 February? Winter olympics in Beijing.

  7. So many things going on right now for the U.S to deal with it’s insanse.

    North Korea has been testing missiles over the last couple days including hypersonic ones according to South Korea.

    Iran has put out a clear threat that an attack on the U.S. Homeland could be coming if the U.S. does not arrest Trump and hand him to Iran.

    China has been flying over Taiwan’s airspace at an increasing rate. The U.S will be deploying technicians to Taiwan to ensure their patriot defence missiles are in good shape.

    And the list goes on and on, Venezuela, Haiti, Ethiopia, Bosnia and so on.

  13. unfortunately I dont believe that Ukraine, like Taiwan, will have a happy ending in the long term. Everything seems to indicate that Russia and China are planning a simultaneous attack on their targets.

  20. I remember then two weeks before all thus protests in Ukraine, russian duma accepted the law on easier integration of foreign territories into their own.

    By that time it sounded funny to me…. and how strongly i was wrong.

    If you’re going to fake being attacked, it would make sense to not do a month of military buildup before.

    They sort of have missed the window to sounds credible. But I doubt Russia will let that stand in the way.

  30. Now, it is Ukraine, tomorrow it will be one of the Baltic countries. Make no illusions, there is no reason for Putin to stop. Fun times. Imagine what is going to happen, when China starts doing this sort of thing.

  36. Putin is losing popularity fast now due to how he and his party has handled Corona in Russia. He really wants a distraction. I really hope this piece of shit has a smidge of sanity left in him to not start a war in the middle of Europe to solve this popularity issues.

  40. Hypothetically what is stopping Ukraine from asking for help from the EU and the EU then moving troops into Ukraine to discourage a Russian attack? Why aren’t or leaders offering assistance to Ukraine? I feel like this is appeasement all over again.

  42. Don’t understand the comments here who think its valid to make whataboutisms with past US foreign policy (especially in regards to Iraq 2003 as far as I’ve seen). As if it invalidates Russia’s aggression in this affair, the behavior and negotiation tactics of the Kremlin with their ridiculous demands show their unwilling to make any compromise. This potential scenario by the national security advisor frighteningly doesn’t seem thar far off. Good share OP 👍
