Russia: father of a mobilised man says no one cares that he disappeared. His son vanished in Zaporizhzhia last summer and is listed as missing, but officers tell him he’s most likely dead, and his body cannot be recovered.

    Back then mothers who had their sons missing in action gather on their own to cross the whole region that has been tear up apart from war. Some of them who were lucky found their sons, but those who were not had to accept the fate that their precious ones are no longer alive.

    There were also others who did not give up but had to endure and walk even darker path, amongst hospital morgues or visiting the ill-fated Military morgue in Rostov on Don where in train cars were kept the remains or what was left of those unfortunate souls who were killed in Chechnya.

40. “Missing” will soon be interpreted as “Refusing to Fight” or “AWOL” and all of their possessions back home will be plundered by Russia. When their body is finally returned the family will get a bag of onions due to them and their own room at a homeless shelter.
