French ship turned hospital treats Gazans in Egypt • FRANCE 24 English

It’s back to normal daily life for this pediatrician in Ani Hospital Pier mornon has just returned from a humanitarian Mission aboard the Dix mute a French helicopter carrier docked at the Alish port in Egypt my patients included children adults utees burn victims explosion victims many with complicated broken bone injuries concussions and so

On some 80 Medical Personnel are aboard the carrier tending to the wounded and the French help is a very welcome one for these civilians who are facing overcrowded hospitals in Gaza the French are treating us like family they’re giving us all the treatments we need every day each patient has a story

To tell I’ve seen plenty of photos of what the victims have been through I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone since the end of November almost 1,600 consultations and 250 surgeries have been performed on the dicks mood the carrier will remain docked near the Gaza Strip until January 27th

Some countries have been receiving batches of injured civilians in order to help alleviate the humanitarian situation in Gaza. These countries include France, which deployed a helicopter carrier off the coast of the Gaza Strip. The ‘Dixmude’ functions as a floating hospital, where medics have already performed more than 200 surgeries.

  1. Good to hear that some countries are stepping up and helping evacuees from Gaza in the face of the terrible conditions there.
But 250 surgeries on the Dixmude only in 2 months ? That's only 4 a day.
    What's driving such a low rate ?
Lack of personnel, rationed medical supplies, not enough emergency rooms on the boat, overbooked chopper flights (competing w the _'1600 consultations'_), Egyptian authorities not clearing evacuees fast enough ???

  2. Thanks for France for the medival help.but why no other muslim countries helping?where is middleast representative?
