My fairly naive father bought a bike from someone hovering around the Sunday market in Brick Lane last week. I’ve put 2 and 2 together and suspect it might be stolen. If that is the case, we’d like for it to be returned to the owner.
It’s a green Hackney Cycles Bike with a fixed gear.
It’s not reported online and the police has no record of the serial number.
If this is your bike, let me know and we can arrange for it to be given back to you (though I’ll need proof).

You’re definitely in London.

How did you manage that then?
how much he pay
Definitely not mine since I live in Edinburgh.
And come to think of it, haven’t owned a bike since I was about 12.
However, I do find this bike strangely appealing.
Thanks for coming to this Ted talk.
Of course it was stolen, but it’s not that one.

I have nothing to say other than that is a very handsome bike.
Good egg for doing this. Hope it finds its owner.
Stole my stolen bike back a few years ago. Haven’t hit an adrenaline rush like it since. About time I let it get pinched again.
Try posting on lfgss.com – you’d need an account but perhaps someone from the forum will see and share.
I also had the exact same bike stolen a year ago. Have proof of purchase but, it could be anyone’s. Feel free to DM me 🙂
Can you tell me the serial not so I can confirm that is mine? /S
I don’t live anywhere near UK and don’t follow this subreddit, but my brother’s bike got stolen a few months ago from our apartment complex. His bike was also green. Can you please send me the bike?
Bikes get stolen and resold repeatedly during their lifetime, this is perfectly natural.
Please do not interfere with nature.
