In conclusion Portugal and Greece are the per capita cafe coffee shop kings of Europe!?

  1. I’m not sure what this means in the context of France because most places will serve you a coffee (from bakeries to bars), but I’ve not seen any (outside Paris) where that’s their main thing.

  2. Looks more like café kings than anything since the coffee itself is secondary to the other things on the menu such as food and pastries. What’s surprising is that there’s not a single independent coffee bar in either Italy, Spain or France.

  3. We in ukraine have “Lviv Croissants”. Best coffee store ive ever been in. They have stores everywhere in ukraine and i’d recommend to visit one if you are in ukraine currently.

  4. I’m not able to understand the difference between Café and Coffee Focused Shop. And, as Italian, looking at the data, I’m even more confused. Italian bars, I assume, are under Café, but they are coffee focused shop, so what is under the other category? Moreover it is dominated by chains in Italy.

  5. What counts as a Cafe or Coffee Shop though ?

If the small shop in the corner of the street has a coffee making machine, it counts as one ?
