Yeah the warm and wet weather coming from the gulf stream and cold from Russian Siberia is horrible. Strong wind, it rains and then it freezes at night.

Good work. I especially appreciate the meticulous pitting, flat ice is for noobs but randomly distributed changes in the elevation of the murder ice, that shows proper dedication to the cause.
That’s some terrible ice. If it’s straight and flat, you can at least try to slide your way forward. There’s no decent way of getting past _that_.
