Russia acting like they are equal to US.
USA has missiles bordering Russia. Russia can threaten to do the same with Venezuela but it would result in another Cuban crisis type and USA would go for nuclear war before agreeing to any concession with a Russia when all eyes are in China.
It better be decisive indeed.
What if these countries join the CSTO and ask about it?
If Russia wants to waste their limited resources fooling around in Venezuela they can go ahead. Maybe it will hasten the collapse of the Putin era.
I don’t think Cuba is interested in moving away from the US again after making so much progress with Obama. They’ll bide their time until the US elect a president that isn’t a fossil and try normalizing relations again.
Tbh they should be allowed to. I understand why the US don’t let them, but Cuba is a sovereign country that should be allowed to host whatever military they invite. Like like any European country should
