A lot of drug violence is unfortunately exported to Latin America by wealthy consumers in peaceful locations. Those countries should regulate the market and let them export those product freely to Europe and let Europeans deal with the consequences.
This is my main concern. Organised crime taking over the state.
I hate cocaine users. Your habit is feeding the knife-crime, money laudering and slowly poisoning the economy and society. Businesses are being taken over by organised crime and properties are being used to launder money.

South America’s economy was created to be export driven since the Spanish conquests. They have always been relatively unstable. And they supply what America and Europe demands, which happens to be cocaïne among others. Legalizing these drugs could reduce cashflows into cartels, but good luck since this is a contentious topic. We’re waiting to see what breaks first, hopefully we can fix it.
