Can anyone ID the vehicle? I think it may be a captured Russian BMD but I can’t really tell
Do BMDs have a top hatch like that? What vehicle is it?
vehicle looks like BVP M-80 donated by Slovenia

I don’t think it turned out too well though
Just saw a recent report that Ukraine is taking enormous losses right now. Where is this manpower (on both sides) coming from? People forget that part of “Russia’s” seemingly inexhaustible manpower was literally pooled from the people they’re at war with, plus quite a few others. How is it possible to take losses at this scale with the amount of military aged males who have (smartly) left? Plus, according to outlets, the Ukrainians are literally using up whatever ammunition the US sends almost as soon as it arrives- this war is going on for another decade easily if it’s just these two.
I always wonder why soldiers just shoot randomly towards targets. I guess suppression fire is a thing but just seems a bit wasteful firing from a tank at targets >150m away that they don’t actually really see.
