Pfft thats only one nomination every 1.6 years of his 91 year life
Not to be a hater but he didn’t deserve a nom this year for just doing the Indian Jones score a fifth time
Heart skipped a beat before I finished reading the headline.
Absolute insanity that this got a nom and Spiderverse didn’t. That was an INCREDIBLE score.
Pom Pom Pom duh ramp Pom Pom peh rah pah pah! – John Williams probably
It’s getting to the point where I see his name and my breath catches in my throat.
Good for him I suppose bur Daniel Pemberton was robbed. Spider-verse score is unmatched
Spielberg said it well – “Without John Williams, bikes don’t fly and neither do brooms in Quidditch matches nor do men in red capes. There is no Force, dinosaurs do not walk the earth. We do not wonder, we do not weep, we do not believe.”
Good for him! I do hope Poor Things wins out though because it was a fantastic score that truly transported you.
If you’re in a larger city, check your local symphony and see if they ever do a John Williams tribute concert. I went to one years ago (like 15 yrs), and it was awesome.

Every one well deserved.
Only 5 wins? That’s insane to me
That’s got to be some type of record?
