8. I’m from Iraq and my wife is Iranian. It was a very depressing war that neither side wanted. Both sides had very little or no training in combat but were forced to fight. Saddam and Al Khamenei were ruthless thugs. Al Khamenei still is.

10. Sometimes I get bored on google maps and look where the fighting took place. There is still tons of fortifications built on the SE border of Iraq / W Iran.
