Literally damaging millions of peoples ears each year. They need to hurry up and resolve this. Unacceptable levels of noise.
On unrelated news, hearing aid devices stock prices have skyrocketed in recent years as more people suffer from hearing loss.
Victoria line and Northern are just the worst for this.
I’m one of those people who is literally wincing as it moves along because it sounds like nails on a blackboard – I have to whack up my music and block the buds in my ears just to try and drown out some of the curves.
This and the extreme pollution seem unsustainable. Not to mention the ever increasing temperatures every summer.
The eastbound central line between Stratford and Leyton is an absolute nightmare. Even with headphones it still hurts.
The drivers must have lots of complications from spending 8+ hour a day in the trains, the air ain’t to clean down there aswell.
