Post office operators waiting for compensation are ‘suffering’ and ‘dying’ says Alan Bates
Are you now slightly Furious that after a high-profile drama after everything that you’ve been through there are still so few people who have actually seen full redress for the Scandal that was done to them how are you feeling I’m uh frustrated you put it mildly I mean there is no reason at all
Why full Financial redress shouldn’t have been delivered by now it’s it’s gone on for far too long people are suffering they’ve been they’re dying we’re losing numbers along the way and it’s it’s just seems to be tied up in bureaucracy and that’s that seems to be
The big problem I mean it’s this scheme the current scheme started in March 2022 and I mean that’s what 80 no 22 months ago now and we still there are very few cases that have actually gone through or come out the other end so it is frustrating to put it mildly
The founder of the Justice for Subpostmasters Alliance spoke to MPs on the business and trade committee on the Post Office Horizon scandal. Bosses from the Post Office and Fujitsu, the Japanese technology company that manufactured the Horizon computer system at the heart of the scandal, are facing questions. Thousands of local branch operators were relentlessly pursued by the Post Office and wrongly accused of false accounting, theft and fraud, and more than 700 were handed criminal convictions, after the faulty software made it look as though money was missing at their branches. Several of them killed themselves.

Let's not forget the real victim in all this, Ed Davey…
NO EXCUSE.
There should be criminal proceedings. I've heard no words on that at all.
The problem is private ownership without regulation
Award Alan Bates a knighthood; for services to the truth.
Sort It Out………..
Ian Hislop was on Peston last week and he said that Fujitsu can afford to pay every one of these postmasters £1 million in compensation. Let's stop the dither and delay and just do that.
There should be immediate unconditional interim payments of £50,000 made to anyone involved in the dispute!!
If the government can give £2.5 billion to Ukraine then they can give compensation to the victims of the post office scandal.
Buy post office share now time to buy
Disgraceful behaviour on the part of UK plc and Fujitsu
