Glasgow has once acceptable around the Uni while generally speaking is a hole on a european scale.
Every league table of things that can’t be sensibly ranked is a nonsense created to get you to click on their article. “Why is that uni ranked so low?” “Look how great my city is!” All of it is nonsense rage/click bait. If it wasn’t you’d expect everything to stay mostly the same year to year and weirdly the mystic yet perfect ranking voodoo changes it and the papers have a whole new story! Just as well…

Well, above the dissent….I’ll say that Glasgow is my fave city. It doesn’t have the most resplendent architecture…or the big European City investment…but without the people a city is just buildings – and the people in Glasgow are absolutely mint.
