A video posted on Twitter, showed the Smiths‘ “Hatful of Hollow” hit “Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want” playing during a Trump rally in South Dakota back in September.
The band’s former guitarist took to the platform on Tuesday night to denounce the use of the song, writing:
> “Ahh…right…OK. I never in a million years would’ve thought this could come to pass. Consider this shit shut right down right now.”
