The #European #Union is unlikely to confiscate Russian central bank assets frozen in #Europe, despite #G7 plans to discuss the legality of such a move at a meeting in #February. Each day an official drags this out is another day #Russia keeps terrorizing #Ukraine.

IMO it sets a new precedence that can be abused in other conflicts, disagreements, etc.
But these assets can be frozen indefendly. Any interest generated goes to Ukraine. They can be unfrozen only as war reparations.
