It’s almost as if the Catholic Church does not want to take responsibility for the wrongdoings and criminality carried out in its name. I’m really surprised that the Pope hasn’t directed the various bodies that ran or were linked to Mother And Baby Homes to just pay the redress to survivors. Or maybe he just doesn’t care about the Catholic Church’s many victims?

If only Ireland had a TV station that could make a drama out of it and then it would be a sensation and the earth would suddenly move like it do for Horizon in the UK.
Even then they won’t pony up their half like the corrupt shower they are.
How does compensation solve the issue?
If the vatican was firebombed to Oblivion, would any rational people even care? Fuck the whole organistaion, makes me so angry that they consistemtly get away with atrocity after atrocity

The Church always plays the waiting game, they’ve being dragging their feet on the [€1.5 billion settlement to Irish victims](https://www.irishtimes.com/ireland/education/2023/01/09/taxpayer-may-end-up-paying-most-of-15bn-redress-for-abuse-by-religious-orders/) of which they already got a sweet deal from the government back in the day to only pay half of while the taxpayer foots the rest.
