  1. IDF Arabic Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Avichay Adraee posted on Wednesday footage of a rare protest against Hamas near the Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip.

“Hamas-ISIS leaders, led by Sinwar, listen to the cries of your people, your children and your wives expressing their anger over the situation you caused in Gaza,” he wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter) to which the video was attached.

“They demand you return the Israeli hostages to end the war so they can return home. Will these cries and demands reach the hideouts of Hamas leaders?”

  2. Actually that’s a good hostage deal.

Hamas will return the hostages and Israel will allow Palestinians return home.

  3. That’s good to hear. Although I do admit that I wonder whether any of those Gazans calling for Hamas to release all of the Israeli hostages were among the civilians that helped to kidnap them or confine them in the first place, since we already know that plenty of Gazan civilians did play a role in that. I’d like to believe that this protesting group has been against the hostage-taking and hostage-keeping from the start, but the cynical part of me can’t help but wonder whether some of these protesters were all for taking and keeping Israeli hostages right up until it drastically affected their standard of living.

  4. Fucking finally. Where were you all this time, voices of reason?

  5. It’s important to note the Gazans refer to the Israeli hostages as “prisoners” as written on the signs

  6. You want proof Israel’s tactics are working? Here it is. Gazans aren’t afraid of Hamas’s ‘strength’ anymore. They aren’t scared of the consequences of protesting openly against Hamas because Hamas is too weak to do anything about it.

Great job, IDF. Keep it up.

  7. Finally it’s time that sanity and common sense prevailed. The fact that Hamas leaders are just hiding out in expensive penthouses in Dubai with their family and mistresses and never visited Palestine show how much they care to the people of Palestine.

  8. This is positive, I don’t know how much weight this will hold. It seems like a small crowd. And likely these very same people would be cheering and passing out candy if more Israelis were killed… but still a step in the right direction. Get those hostages home!

  9. Good for Palestinian people. Some have the guts to oppose the savage puppet regime.

  10. But will Netenyahu take such a deal? If he does, he’ll have less impetus to remain in Gaza.

  11. Get these people together with the decent pro Palestinian Israelis to jointly fight Netanyahu/Likud and Hamas. A man can dream…

  12. Protests aren’t gonna do shit. They need to take action and start killing Hamas themselves.

  13. Palestinian mothers do love their children more than they hate the Jews. Will their love prevent a future 10-7?

  14. Brave of them to protest Hamas as Hamas has a bad habit of shooting Palestinians that dare to protest
