Sounds plausible, because while you struggle with supplying your war effort, you use your best transport plane to move POWs. Like that’s a priority. I wonder if meals are served on these planes.

Exactly this. They were already dead unfortunately and probably mutilated. Now we won’t know the truth. If I were fighting in this war, I think I’d really make my peace and accept that if I’m about to be captured Id make a death or glory charge. Russia has zero honour or morals so being captured is likely worse than death. Wish the west would step up its efforts now, as this war I has ground to a halt and new momentum.
