Hi guys…

So, this happens and I’m stressing out. I would really appreciate some advice on how I can deal with this. So far I tried vinegar which did not work, obviously.

And to those who might be wondering, I do open the window every morning and evening to let fresh air in. I also have hygrometers to monitor the humidity of the rooms. I also have a dehumidifier to dry my room when the humidity is high (>60%). I really think I try my very best to prevent this but clearly it’s not enough…

Again, any advice would be highly appreciated. Thank you!

  1. Remain calm, it is likely just moisture setting at the window. Take a cloth, some cleaning agent and wipe over it. Can you remove it?

I am making a guess, but you sometimes have condensation on the lower part of your windows, especially in the early morning, don’t you? Wipe that away every day and the mold should stay away.

  2. Take bleach as mentioned before and a long strip of toilet paper that you roll lengthwise into a worm shape. Dip that into the bleach and squeeze out excess. Compact the toilet paper tightly over the mold so that there are no air gaps. Leave for 24 hours and voila, mold will be gone.
