  1. I love a Scottish summer. It’s my favourite day of the decade.

  2. I don’t think you are in Scotland. That’s too sunny to be Scotland.

  3. It’s so great when Scotland looks like this. I’ve been up 8 times in the summer to Sandwood bay and it’s pissed it down and blown a hoolie. Just waiting for that one warm day

  4. I love some Scottish highlands but these pictures have been altered more than a 16 y/o selfies

  5. Good innit. I went to uni (from the north) on the south coast and more people on my course had been to Aus than had been to Scotland. Even people in the UK have no idea.

Glad you had a good time!

  6. I did not recognise it. You were there when it wasn’t raining.

  7. Hurry up climate change. Can’t come soon enough for Scotland

  8. I reckon I could take photos of Luton and make it look appealing via use of filters.

Scotlands lovely, no need to fake it.

  9. If you ever want to give England a try i recommend Dorset the new forest is my favourite place to visit

  10. It’s never been a lack of beaches but more a lack of weather

  11. We hid Scotland up north so the haggis and unicorn wouldn’t go extinct mate.

  12. Ok now tag every photo with the temperature at the time it was taken.

  13. Scotland is awesome. We have pictures of our kids on the beach in Scotland that could’ve been taken in Spain, blue sea, blue sky, sun, shame it rained for the next 4 days

  14. Dear Australian,

The UK is not only London and Berkshire.

(I find many foreigners are unaware of this.)

    Good luck with Grimsby.

    Regards,
    Me

  15. We don’t tell anyone it’s a national secret

  16. Your second picture is directly opposite our house! Stunning shot. Harris is a very special place

  17. Scotland is gorgeous in the few days of summer. Still gorgeous when it rains but the sun really brings the natural beauty to light

  18. Fun fact: they originally introduced a fast shutter speed on cameras so photographers could photograph Scotland when it was sunny.

There’s a saying. If you can’t see the highlands, it’s raining. If you can see them, it’s going to rain.

  19. You can’t miss Scotland it’s pretty big, FYI there is loads off beauty spots in the UK you just have to find them.

  20. That’s some pretty awesome filter you’ve got on your camera – you’ve managed to make the sea look warm and inviting!

  21. It appears you were lucky enough to catch Scotland on the day the sun came out. I’m going up there soon and as far as I can tell it’s due to piss down and blow a gale the entire time.

  22. Strip down to your budgie smugglers and throw yourself into the sea, it’s really really warm. You Aussies will love it.

  23. You can’t see the midges in these pics but I bet you felt them….
