   this was said by the judge. people were thinking his wife left him to help his legal issues. so i guess it did hurt him.

11. Would any other non-famous person in his situation be granted bail pending appeal. I mean the appeal seems pro-forma rather than based on some new evidence. Why would anyone in that situation get bail?
