Brexit benefit, despite, but r/europe told me…..etc
Yeah, it’s pretty crazy in the City right now. Hottest it has been since mid 00s, but most firms downplaying press as not a good time to boast about making billions.
All financial markets are showing extraordinary profits now (and it has nothing to do with Brexit, in fact Brexit might have made those a little smaller in the City and a little larger in other financial centers in EU), but if you are not making at least 1 million per year from it you have probably lost a lot more (for you) in other ways.
This is going as planned, it never was about sovereignty, borders or any of that. It was always about profits in the City.
Despite!!!
The Uk is not a small irrelevant shithole, its financial economy is world class and it will almost certainly not collapse in the next 10 years. The EU is not, and never has been, an undemocratic 4th reich, most of the comments about its role are ridiculously ill-informed and it will also almost certainly not collapse in the next 10 years. Incredible heh.
We need to stop saying that economy = how the top 1% is doing.
