Huge Blow for United. Ten Hag is going to have to deal with yet another high profile injury. United might need a January signing to help. Maybe bringing Elanga back from loan. The only way I see them competing for the Europa Conference League is if someone comes in this transfer window.

  1. The relationship between Martial and football is like me and the gym. Come in for a week or two, then stay out for some months, and repeat next year without the contract ever being cancelled.

  2. He’s made 13 PL apps (8 as a sub) and has one goal this season. In the matches he hasn’t played, their record is 4W-2D-2L. He’s made six apps and has another solitary goal in all other comps. I think they’ll be fine without him (or, at least, not at all affected).

  3. High profile injury is a bit exaggerated. This is a given every year and they haven’t planned for it
