Given the track record of their shitty weapons in Ukraine, they can’t be sure that their nukes even work. And the only thing worse than launching a nuke is launching a nuke that doesn’t work. Your country will be obliterated and you don’t even get a benefit.
I know its a frieghtenimg prospect but with Russia its hard to believe everything they say or even threaten with, and whos to say they will be succesful with this threat, what if they launch these missiles and devices only for their engineering to fail them again.
Why not? The MAGA politicians have opened the door to showing the US will flinch and back down if it serves them politically.
