During the assault on Russian positions, A Ukrainian soldier stepped on an anti-personnel mine. Despite the intense pain, he was able to apply a tourniquet to himself. He was then successfully evacuated from the battlefield.

15. For a dude who just lost his foot. He isn’t shaking very much, infact without the audio, you’d think he was putting that on someone else and not himself. I don’t imagine I’d not be shaking like a leaf and being able to put that on myself as calmly as that man was.

24. This is why I dont pre game TQs like that. People think they will just slip it around whatever limb got shredded and be able to pull it up till its high and tight, but as you can tell from the vid, thats not how it works. Glad the dude was evacuated though!

25. I hope it at least didn’t destroy anything past his foot. Seems like it would be a lot less difficult, recovery wise, to deal with just a foot being gone.
